Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Reloca8, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

Reloca8 is a relocation concierge operated by Gratia Nova Limited t/a Reloca8. We help you handle the utility, government, and service-provider admin that comes with moving house, either by (a) preparing a pre-filled, ready-to-send notice for providers that require you to notify them directly — mainly because there is no competitive alternative provider to switch to, such as council tax or a regional water company — (b) guiding you through a provider’s own official portal, which you complete yourself, or (c) comparing new-customer deals (broadband/fiber, and energy where you’re switching supplier) available at your new address, where switching itself typically closes out your old account automatically. We do not submit paperwork to a provider directly on your behalf under any of these — every notice is sent, and every sign-up completed, by you.

Reloca8 is not a law firm, financial advisor, or government body, and is not affiliated with any council, utility provider, or government agency named in the paperwork we help you prepare.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to instruct changes on the accounts and addresses you give us — for example, being the account holder, a joint account holder, or someone otherwise authorized to act for that account. You’re responsible for the accuracy of everything you tell us.

When you complete the signature step of onboarding, you electronically sign a customer authorization authorizing Gratia Nova Limited t/a Reloca8 to prepare change-of-address, transfer, and/or termination paperwork, using the move details you’ve given us, for the specific services you’ve selected. We do not submit this paperwork to any provider on your behalf: you review it, then send it yourself, or complete the provider’s own sign-up yourself. This authorization exists so the paperwork we prepare can accurately state that it comes from you, the account holder.

You can revoke your customer authorization at any time by contacting us at support@reloca8.com, though a notice you’ve already downloaded and sent, or a provider signup you’ve already completed through one of our comparison links, can’t be unwound on our end since it happened directly between you and that provider. Electronic signatures given through Reloca8 are intended to be legally valid and binding to the same extent as a handwritten signature, consistent with applicable law (including the UK’s Electronic Communications Act 2000 and the US ESIGN Act / UETA).

We prepare your paperwork promptly and accurately from the details you give us, but we don’t control third-party providers — councils, utilities, government agencies, or broadband companies — and can’t guarantee they’ll act within a particular timeframe, or at all, once you’ve sent a notice or signed up for a deal. If a provider rejects or delays a request, we’ll do what we reasonably can to help you resolve it, but the underlying obligation remains between you and that provider.

Reloca8 is free for movers, always — we do not charge you to use the service. We’re compensated instead through referral commissions when you sign up for a broadband or fiber deal through a comparison link we show you. This never affects the price you pay. You agree not to:

• Provide false information, or instruct changes on accounts you're not authorized to act on
• Use Reloca8 to harass, defraud, or impersonate any person or organization
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

You can stop using Reloca8 and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, or if we need to for security or legal reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (like the customer authorization audit-record retention described in our Privacy Policy) will continue to apply.

The Reloca8 name, logo, and the design and content of this site belong to Gratia Nova Limited t/a Reloca8. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to use our branding beyond what’s needed to use the service normally.

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gratia Nova Limited t/a Reloca8 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts, omissions, or delays of third-party providers named in paperwork we help you prepare. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to indemnify Gratia Nova Limited t/a Reloca8 against claims arising from information you provided that was false, or from your use of the service in breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales for users located in the UK, and by the laws of [state/jurisdiction to be confirmed] for users located in the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Reloca8 after an update means you accept the revised terms.
